Our next content update will focus on the Pax Dei economy system. With the addition of gold coins as currency, market stalls, and customizable trading, you will be able to experience a more collaborative economy. Here’s an overview of what to expect!

Gold Currency: The New Standard for Trade

Gold coins are currently becoming Pax Dei's currency, acquired as loot from NPCs, making it a valuable resource for adventurers. Gold will serve as the backbone of trade, giving you a universal currency for buying, selling, and trading. This opens up exciting new avenues for earning and spending, adding extra value to every encounter.

Craft Your Own Market Stall

You can now create your own market stalls and place them on your plot(s) to showcase goods, crafted items, or rare resources. Want to build a bustling trade hub? Set aside an area for a market square, build a Market Stall or two and together with your friends, create a unique shopping destination for other players to visit.

Browse and Buy from Others’ Stalls

Exploring the market is now more exciting and accessible. With the ability to browse other players' market stalls, you can discover an ever-changing array of items. Plus, with filtering and sorting options, you can easily find exactly what you need, whether it’s rare crafting materials, armor, or unique collectibles.

Control Who Trades with You

To add a personal touch to trading, you can set permissions on your stall. Decide who can place sell orders, from limiting access to clan members to opening up sales to the entire player base. This gives you the freedom to manage exclusive trade relationships and craft a niche marketplace.

Whether you’re venturing out to collect gold, crafting rare items, or building a thriving market hub, everyone can find their place in this exciting new economy.

But this is just the beginning! Gold will soon have another significant role: acquiring Grace. You might be wondering, “What is Grace?” Let us give you a sneak peek.

Grace represents divine favor and serves as a resource for performing miracles. Think of it as a spiritual energy, enabling you to cast unique, non-combat-related spells. These miracles could include blessings that enhance crafting and gathering skills or utility abilities like fast travel to specific locations. Every character will receive a small amount of Grace by logging in each day. Additional Grace can be obtained… by using gold for those seeking more.

The introduction of Grace and its ties to gold will create even deeper opportunities for growth, exploration, and collaboration in Pax Dei.
