Easter Surprise Patch Coming on April 22
Hello Paxians!
Get ready for an upcoming exciting week - a surprise Easter content patch is coming on April 22!
We’ll perform maintenance starting at 10:00 am UTC, with an estimated downtime of 1 hour.
This is a minor content patch, but it will include some interesting features. Want to know more? Check out the release notes below!
New Miracle: Fast Travel
A new Miracle will be available in Pax Dei, allowing you to travel across the land more quickly, for a price. Whether you're headed to a distant market, meeting up with friends, or chasing your next adventure, Fast Travel helps you get there faster. Using this Miracle, you can teleport within your current Province directly from the Map. It consumes Grace to cast and offers a practical way to cut down on long travel times.
Here’s how it works:
Destinations must be discovered before you can travel to them.
You can teleport to a Petra Dei (the large standing stone in Home Valley center) for 20 Grace points.
You can teleport to a Gateway (portals to other Provinces, including Lyonesse) for 30 Grace points.
Petra Mea (returning you to your Petra Dei) is still free with a cooldown, but now, you can spend Grace to bypass that cooldown.
Travel between provinces is not yet available, but it may be in the future. To be true, the Petra Mea miracle works across Provinces, if it is not under cooldown.
Spanish & Polish languages
With this patch, Spanish (Castilian) and Polish will be available in-game! We’re thrilled to offer more players the chance to experience Pax Dei in their native language.
That said, please note that support for these languages is currently limited to the game itself and not to Discord, as we don’t have the capacity to moderate or engage in these additional languages.
We understand many of you are eager to see more localizations. While we can’t confirm which languages will be added next or when, we’re actively exploring future options. Translating Pax Dei — even without traditional quests or dialogue — still requires time and care, so we’ll be adding support gradually.
Major changes are on the horizon with Verse 3, launching before summer. Stay tuned for more news soon!
